Four others earn all-conference
CLERMONT, Fla.—Southeastern University senior pitcher Hannah Bodenhorn was selected as The Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year, announced at the postseason banquet.
Bodenhorn also was named First Team All-Sun Conference, as was third baseman Bailee Moll.
Bodenhorn posted a league-best 1.15 ERA against conference opponents. In 141 total innings of work, the Nashville native had a 1.64 ERA with 164 strikeouts against just 32 walks. Her opponent batting average of .199 ranked 32 nationally.
Moll posted a .324 batting average with 18 doubles, three homers and 30 RBIs. The junior hit a team-best .333 against Sun Conference opponents with nine doubles.
Earning second team honors were second baseman Sam Holcomb, and outfielders Haleigh Harrell and Heather Faulk. Holcomb hit .293 with 10 doubles this season. Harrell posted a .305 average with 15 doubles, three triples, and two home runs. Faulk hit .302 with a .353 on base percentage and had 17 stolen bases and 15 sacrifice hits.
