Bostrom Becomes First SEU Women’s Golf All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Southeastern University senior Rebecca Bostrom made history this year for the women’s golf team.
The native of Sweeden became the first All-Tournament selection at the NAIA National Championship last week, and was named Second-Team NAIA All-America Wednesday.
Bostrom was 22nd in the NAIA in scoring average at 77.54 over her 24 rounds this season. She recorded 35 birdies and two eagles this season. On Par 5 holes this year, Bostrom’s average score was 5.03.
In her final round with the Fire, Bostrom recorded the best round of her career at 70, which was the low round of the national championship, where she finished ninth.
