Bradbury Earns NAIA Player-of-the-Week Recognition

KANSAS CITY – The NAIA honored Kendall Bradbury on Tuesday, naming her the Player of the Week for her stout performances from January 21-27. The prestigious honor marked the second such award for the three-time All-American.

Bradbury led the Trojans to a pair of instrumental victories last week, knocking off No. 7 Marian and No. 18 Saint Francis. The senior captain averaged 22 points, nine rebounds and a 55.9 percent clip from the floor during the two-game span.

The 5-11 forward has been a top performer within the NAIA throughout the year, scoring and rebounding at an impressive rate. Following her award-winning week, Bradbury ranked second in total scoring with 517 points and third in points per game, averaging 21.5 points per game for the year. The Highlands Ranch, Colorado native also rated highly in rebounds, landing 20th in the nation with 217 rebounds.

The Trojans have been great at the free throw line this season, touting an 81.4 free throw percentage, which ranked second in the NAIA. Bradbury has played a major role in the team’s success at the line. Through TU’s first 24 games, the senior forward has had her best year at the foul line, sinking 104 free throws at a career-high 86.7 percent rate.

Bradbury and the No. 9 Trojans will return to action on Saturday when they take on the Spring Arbor Cougars at 1:00 pm.
