Bradbury Joins Limerick Celtics in Ireland

UPLAND, Ind. – Taylor University’s Kendall Bradbury officially signed with the Limerick Celtics on Saturday. Bradbury will start her professional career overseas in Ireland with the new season beginning in September.

The 5-11 forward is coming off an incredible four-year career at TU, as she looks to make the move across the Atlantic Ocean. The standout nabbed the program-record for career points early in her senior campaign, while notching the Crossroads League career scoring title later that season.

Bradbury set another mark with her announcement this week, establishing herself as the first Trojan to make the jump into a professional women’s basketball league.

“I am extremely humbled and honored for this opportunity and I am very much looking forward to embracing this next chapter of my life in Ireland,” Bradbury commented on her upcoming opportunity.

Head coach Jody Martinez added, “When I met Kendall in 2017, she shared with me that her dream was to play professionally. Her work ethic and driven passion to get better is paying off for this chance to continue to play. My staff, my family and I are extremely happy for her and are excited to see what she will do in Ireland.”
