Brickner’s Career-High Gives Pilots 2-0 League Start

 

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Bethel College Lady Pilots women’s basketball team earned their first 2-0 start in Crossroads League play since 2012-13, as they defeated Goshen 84-75 behind Kelsey Brickner’s career-high 27 points. After falling behind by five after 10 minutes, the Lady Pilots outscored the Maple Leafs by 14 in the final three quarters to earn the home win.

  • All five starters for the Lady Pilots scored in double figures, led by Kelsey Brickner’s career-high 27 points.
  • The Lady Pilots shot 50 percent from the field for the first time this season and the first time since December 29 of last season. They shot 17-31 from the field in the second and third quarters, outscoring Goshen 47-35 in those two frames.
  • The Lady Pilots are 2-0 in Crossroads League play for the first time since 2012-13.
