The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is Lake Central junior softball player Olivia Peterson. In Wednesday’s Duneland Conference showdown against Chesterton, Peterson belted a pair of home runs and drove in three runs to help the Indians to a 10-4 victory. After the contest, she said, “It was really important to come out and kind of set the tone for the entire season. We wanted to set the tone against a team that was ranked higher than us. We trusted the talent on our team.”
The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
