The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is Lake Central senior pitcher Joe Graziano.  In Tuesday’s season opener against Hammond Bishop Noll, the left-hander tossed a perfect game with 10 strikeouts in a 5-0 win.

Last season, Graziano went 8-0 with a 0.555 ERA, and is among four returning pitchers from a staff that made national headlines with six straight shutouts and 62 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings.

The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
