CENTIER BANK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK – 4-20-19

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are NorthWood senior track and field performer Bronson Yoder and Merrillville senior track and field performer Jawnza Williams.

In Saturday’s Goshen Relays, Yoder helped the Panthers to a first-place finish in the Class B standings with 120 points by capturing the long jump with a score of 22-feet and one-half inch. He was also part of the winning 800-meter relay (1:35.70) and 1,600-meter relay (3:37.40) and the second-place 400-meter relay (45.49) teams.

In Tuesday’s triangular victories over Lake Central (83-49) and Crown Point (76-46), Williams finished second in the long jump with a leap of 21-feet, 3-inches, third in the 100-meter dash (11.34), and anchored the Pirates’ winning 400-meter relay team (42.93).

The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
