Positively Promoting the Student Athlete Since 1992

The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is Crown Point senior softball player Alexis Holloway.

In Saturday’s 2-1 victory over defending state champion Avon in the Class 4A state title game at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, the Notre Dame recruit allowed one run on four hits with one walk and six strikeouts to help the Bulldogs (30-2) to their first state title. Holloway was also the recipient of the Class 4A mental attitude award with a 3.96 grade-point average. She closed out her senior season with a 22-1 record and a 0.26 earned-run average, allowing 64 hits, 12 runs, six earned runs with 20 walks and 277 strikeouts over 164.3 innings of work.

A special recognition also goes out to Crown Point sophomore softball player Mallory McMahon, who accounted for both runs with a two-run double in the first inning.

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
