The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is Lake Central senior golfer Alexis Miestowski. At the IHSAA girls’ golf state finals held this past Friday and Saturday at the Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Miestowski finished second with a two-day score of 146, just one stroke behind state champion Kayla Benge of Plainfield. On Friday, she shot an even-par 72 and then followed up with a score of 74 on Saturday. Miestowski won the individual state title in 2015 and finished third last year.
The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
