Danville, IL – Mike Green scored eight of Ancilla’s final 12 points in the last three minutes as he helped quell a North Central Missouri College comeback. The #12 Chargers (24-10) won 95-87 and will meet #3 Pima Community College of Tucson, AZ Saturday at 1 p.m. eastern for seventh place in the NJCAA Men’s Basketball District II Championships.

Ancilla lead for most of the game and built a 21-point lead with 6:21 left in the game. The #16 Pirates (19-14) clamped down on defense and got more assertive on offense and got to with six points at 86-80. Ty’Sean Sheppard fouled out at that time and Green, who had struggled early took the opportunity to help preserve the victory.
