Chargers Capture Regular Season Finale

 

Plymouth – #3 Ancilla College closed out the regular season with a 123-65 victory over Lake Michigan College in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association game at the LifePlex.

The Chargers (27-2, 17-1) have established a new school record for wins in a season and the sophomore class will leave as the most successful team in the history of Ancilla basketball.

Ancilla was led by Jair Rodgers with 23 points, eight rebounds and nine assists. Tyler Chisom scored 15, Teyon Scanlan tossed in 14 and Ty’Sean Sheppard and Mike Green each had 13 points.

Ancilla will host Henry Ford College on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the championship game for the MCCAA. Ancilla won the western title and Henry Ford took the east title.
