Chargers Remain Perfect in MCCAA West

Benton Harbor, MI –  #2 National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Ancilla College built a 13-point first half advantage and then turned back each Lake Michigan (11-9, 7-2) rally as they beat the Red Hawks 94-83 Wednesday night in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association contest. Ancilla (19-1, 9-0) retains sole possession of first in the MCCAA West Division. They ran the table during the first half of the conference schedule.

 

Tyler Chisom scored 23 and Jair Rodgers added 22 as Chargers won the first of two road games this week.  Erick Shepherd added 13 points, with DK Fix scoring 12 and Frank Felix finished with 11. Rodgers and Shepherd each had eight rebounds.  Ancilla made six more frees than Lake Michigan shot.

 

The Chargers will travel to Muskegon for a 3 p.m. game on Saturday.
