Chargers Win Home Opener

PLYMOUTH – Ancilla College opened their home season with a win Monday night by beating the Bethel JV 123-86. The Chargers (2-0) remain unbeaten heading into Tuesday night match-up against the Goshen JV at 7 p.m. at the LifePlex in Plymouth.

Albert Haskins led Ancilla with a game-high 28 points and eight rebounds. Josh Alcindor tossed in 24 points and Mike Green scored 21, while connecting on all five of his three-point attempts. Tyrese Walker added 11 points and Marco Beverly tipped in 10.

Nathan Meriweather handed out five of Ancilla’s 32 assists.

Mike Mudd and Max Raker each scored 13 for the Pilots (2-7), while Spenser Pettit and Kenny Meniefield both scored 11.
