Positively Promoting the Student Athlete Since 1992

AUSTIN, Texas—Southeastern University junior wrestler Dylan Chatterton was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Second Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Chatterton was one of 20 total student-athletes selected in the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo, volleyball, and wrestling for men. The group selected for this honor produced an average GPA of 3.94.
The York, Pa. native carries a 3.91 GPA as a finance major and is a two-time national qualifier. The junior was named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete as well as earned Academic All-Mid-South Conference honors. On the mat, Chatterton was an All-American at 157 in 2018, and also qualified for nationals in 2019.
He becomes the first student-athlete in the four years of Fire wrestling named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America team.
Southeastern is coming off of a 19th place finish at the NAIA National Championship.
