CL Track and Cross Country Adds 10 CoSIDA Academic All-District Nods

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League saw 10 student-athletes earn College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District awards recently, this time for the CoSIDA Google Cloud NAIA Track and Cross Country Academic All-District Teams.

Taylor led the charge with nine of the CL’s 10 awards, with Spring Arbor also collecting one honor. TU led the nation across all levels with the nine total awards. All 10 CL student-athletes will advance to the ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, which will be announced June 24.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-American awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievements in the classroom, as well as in their area of competition. In order to be eligible for the honor, an athlete must be nominated by their institution’s Sports Information Department, must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher with at least one full year at their current institution, must have reached sophomore academic status and must have participated in over half of their team’s competitions as a key contributor during the current season.
