NAIA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Reinhardt (12-0) vs. Saint Francis (13-0) (6 p.m.): The top-ranked and defending national champion Cougars earned a spot in last year’s title game with a 42-24 win at No. 2 Reinhardt. This affair takes place in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Georgia-based Eagles were champions of the Appalachian Athletic Conference. Reinhardt is playing in its first championship game, while Saint Francis is back for the second straight year and fifth time overall, finishing runner-up in 1004, 2005, and 2006. The Cougars have won 22 consecutive games dating back to 2016. Trevae Cain ran 22 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning two-yard run in the second overtime of the Eagles’ 37-34 win over No. 5 Southern Oregon. Justin Green exploded for 234 yards and three scores on 33 carries in the Cougars’ 43-36 victory over No. 3 Morningside.

Purdue (6-6) vs. Arizona (7-5): The Boilermakers have captured the previous two meetings against the Wildcats, including a 31-24 triumph in 2005. This matchup takes place in Santa Clara, California at Levi’s Stadium. Purdue quarterback Elijah Sindelar has completed 154-of-276 passes for 1,703 yards and 14 touchdowns. Wildcats’ running back J.J. Taylor has 136 carries for 828 yards and five scores.

Notre Dame (9-3) vs. LSU (9-3) (1 p.m.): The No. 14 Fighting Irish used Kyle Brindza’s 32-yard field goal as time expired to escape with a 31-28 victory over No. 17 LSU in the 2014 Music City Bowl. The game is being played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. North Dame has captured six of the previous 11 meetings against the Tigers. Notre Dame running back Josh Adams has 191 carries for 1,430 yards and nine touchdowns. LSU receiver Malachi Dupre has caught 41 passes for 593 yards and three scores.
