Here are some facts and figures about games involving Indiana college football teams. Times are eastern.

SEPTEMBER 28

St. Ambrose (1-2) at Saint Francis (2-0) (Noon): The No. 3 (NAIA) Cougars rolled to a 60-14 win over St. Ambrose last season. Dino Borrelli was 14-of-23 for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Iowa-based Bees’ 20-10 loss to No. 20 (NAIA) Siena Heights. Matt Kominkiewicz returned a punt 83 yards for a score in Saint Francis’ 29-16 win over Robert Morris.

Wittenberg (2-1) at DePauw (1-1) (1 p.m.): The Ohio-based Tigers roared a 38-23 win over DePauw a year ago. Bobby Froehlich went 19-of-22 for 219 yards and two touchdowns in Wittenberg’s 14-12 win over the College of Wooster. Noah Jones ran 17 times for 73 yards and a score in the Tigers’ 21-7 win over Kenyon.

Bluffton (0-3) at Hanover (2-1) (1:30 p.m.): The Panthers downed Bluffton, 28-10, a season ago. Darian Greeley had 22 carries for 89 yards and two scores in the Ohio-based Beavers’ 34-19 loss to Franklin. Jared Frank had four catches for 19 yards and a touchdown in Hanover’s 31-10 win at Maryville.

Defiance (0-3) at Anderson (2-1) (1:30 p.m.): The Ravens soared to an 18-14 win against Defiance last year. Devon Hewitt raced 30 times for 95 yards with two touchdowns for the Ohio-based Yellow Jackets in a 52-21 loss to Manchester. James Tucker hauled in five passes for 80 yards in Anderson’s 34-7 loss Mount St. Joseph.

Mount St. Joseph (2-0) at Franklin (1-2) (1:30 p.m.): The Grizzlies edged Mount St. Joseph, 42-34, in their previous meeting. Chaiten Tomlin completed 31-of-45 for 310 yards and two scores for the Ohio-based Lions against Anderson. Robbie Strader finished 9-of-19 for 147 yards and a touchdown for Franklin against Bluffton.

Rose-Hulman (1-1) at Manchester (1-2) (1:30 p.m.): The Engineers posted a 19-12 win over Manchester in 2018. Noah Thomas rushed five times for 41 yards and a touchdown in Rose-Hulman’s 30-0 blanking of Rhodes.  Christian Smith scampered six times for 69 yards for the Spartans against Defiance.

Charleston (2-1) at Valparaiso (0-3) (2 p.m.): This marks the first meeting on the gridiron between the Golden Eagles from West Virginia and Valparaiso. Bryant Grisel was 24-of-43 for 442 yards with three touchdowns in Charleston’s 34-29 win over West Virginia Wesleyan. Trey Stablein came up with a 16-yard scoring reception in the Crusaders’ 38-7 loss to Truman State.

Denison (2-0) at Wabash (1-1) (2 p.m.) The Big Red from Ohio claimed a 34-14 win over Wabash last season. Alex Minton carried the ball 15 times for 90 yards and three touchdowns in Denison’s 66-7 victory over Hiram. Nick Hamman hauled in seven passes for 192 yards and two scores in the Little Giants’ 48-35 win over Allegheny.

Indiana (3-1) at Michigan State (3-1) (3:30 p.m.): The No. 25 Spartans registered a 35-21 win over Indiana a year ago. Whop Philyor came up with four catches for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Hoosiers’ 38-3 win over Connecticut. Elijah Collins rambled 17 times for 76 yards with a score in Michigan State’s 31-10 win at Northwestern.

Minnesota (3-0) at Purdue (1-2) (3:30 p.m.): The Golden Gophers cruised to a 41-10 win over Purdue a season ago. Tanner Morgan went 19-of-31 for 289 yards with three touchdowns in Minnesota’s 35-32 win over Georgia State. Jack Plummer came off the bench to complete 13-of-29 for 181 yards and a score in the Boilermakers’ 34-13 loss to Texas Christian.

Virginia (4-0) at Notre Dame (2-1) (3:30 p.m.): The No. 10 Fighting Irish rallied for a 34-27 win over No. 18 Virginia during the 2015 campaign. Joe Reed had four receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Cavaliers’ 28-17 win over Old Dominion. Ian Book went 29-og47 for 275 yards with two scores in Notre Dame’s 23-17 loss at No. 3 Georgia.

Olivet Nazarene (1-2) at Indiana Wesleyan (1-1) (6 p.m.): The Wildcats hung on for a 40-36 win over Olivet Nazarene last year. LaShaun Rule scampered 19 times for 294 yards and five touchdowns in the Illinois-based Tigers’ 49-31 win over Lawrence Tech. Josh Davidson recorded 18 tackles and a fumble recovery in Indiana Wesleyan’s 23-22 win over Missouri Baptist.

Southwest Baptist (3-1) at Indianapolis (3-0) (6 p.m.): The Greyhounds raced to a 48-14 win over Southwest Baptist in their last meeting. Eric Knight tallied 24 carries for 103 yards and a score in the Missouri-based Bearcats’ 20-13 win over Kentucky Wesleyan. Daveon Bell had three receptions for 69 yards with a touchdown for Indianapolis in its 63-21 win over McKendree.

Robert Morris (1-2) at Marion (2-0) (6:05 p.m.): The No. 6 (NAIA) Knight crowned Robert Morris, 51-7, last season. Quinn Kelly went 19-of-44 for 219 yards for the Illinois-based Eagles against Saint Francis. Mac Dutra racked up seven tackles for Marian in its 55-0 blanking of Trinity International.
