Concord names Pat Doherty as Head Baseball Coach
A 2005 graduate of Concord High School, Doherty played baseball all four years in high school, earning three letters under head coaches Cary Anderson and Mike Jackowioak. He also earned three letters in swimming and participated in cross country and football one year each. Additionally, he was a member of the Concord Marching Minutemen Band, earning a State Championship in 2003 and being selected as drum major in his junior and senior years. Following graduation, Doherty went on to play college baseball at Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville, Michigan.
Doherty served has previously been a member of the Concord Baseball staff, serving as JV coach in 2016 and assistant coach in 2017. Prior to that he spent four years as an assistant coach at Elkhart Central High School. He also coached the Concord Pride 12U & 13U Travel Team in 2017 and 2018.
