COOK SCORES 33 IN HOLY CROSS MBB WIN OVER JUDSON

Elgin, Ill. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team travelled to Illinois tonight to take on Judson University in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference showdown. The Saints would sweep the Eagles this season with a 73-68 victory tonight. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 16-10 overall and 10-6 in conference while Judson falls to 5-19 and 3-13.

Key Notes of the Game:

– Holy Cross shot 48% from the field and 38% from three

– The Saints’ defense limited the Eagles to shooting just 33% from the field and force 16 turnovers

– Men’s basketball struggled from the free throw line, shooting 15/27 in the win

By the Numbers:

– Storm Cook finished with a team high 33 points and went 11/14 from the free throw line

– Bryce Crosen scored 13 points on 6/10 shooting and pulled down 9 rebounds

– Parker Sims added 10 points and had a team high 5 assists
