Crossroads League Adds Five Academic All-Americans

AUSTIN, Texas. – The Crossroads League saw five student-athletes named as 2021-2022 CoSIDA NAIA Cross Country and Track Academic All-Americans recently. Taylor took home four of those honors, while Grace added one.

Of the five honors, three individuals earned First-Team Academic All-American nods, with Taylor’s Alex Helmuth and Abbey Brennan joining Grace’s Kyle Smith on the list. Taylor also added a pair of Second-Team honors with Derek Van Prooyen and Brooke Studnicki earning the honor.

The five All-American honors give the Crossroads League a total of 21 CoSIDA Academic All-American awards for the 2021-2022 year. Of those 21 awards, Taylor topped the CL with 13 honors, with Spring Arbor adding three, Indiana Wesleyan and Grace boasting two and MVNU ending with one.
