Crossroads League Announces Athletes of the Week | December 10-16

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the top athletes from the week of December 10 through 16. Sports Information Directors from the league nominate student-athletes for the award and vote on each week’s winners.
Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Wes Stowers, Marian
Stowers averaged 25.0 points per game for No. 15 Marian in wins over Huntington and Cal Martime, shooting 57.9 percent from the floor and becoming MU’s all-time leading scorer.
Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Dejah Cyrus, Marian
Cyrus led No. 7 Marian to a 21-point win over Cumberland with 12 points, five rebounds and one block in MU’s lone game of the week.
