Crossroads League Announces Athletes of the Week | December 23-29

 

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the top athletes from December 23 through 29. Sports Information Directors from the league nominate student-athletes for the award and vote on each week’s winners.

Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Grant Gelon, Bethel

Gelon poured in a career-best 42 points in just 27 minutes to lead No. 9 Bethel to a 105-73 rout of Lawrence Tech. The junior guard also tied a program-best with nine three-pointers made in only 12 attempts and added nine rebounds and three steals in the Pilot victory.

 

Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Kyannah Stull, Grace

Stull matched a career-high with 27 points on nine-of-13 shooting and drilled four triples to go with four rebounds, two steals and two assists in an 85-60 win over Holy Cross for the RV Lancers.
