Crossroads League Announces Athletes of the Week | November 19-25

 

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the top athletes from the week of November 19 through 25. Sports Information Directors from the league nominate student-athletes for the award and vote on each week’s winners.

Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Trevion Crews, Bethel
Crews put on a show in No. 23 Bethel’s 80-74 win at Taylor, scoring 30 points to go with 14 rebounds, six steals and six assists. The sophomore guard went eight-of-15 from the field and 12-of-16 from the free throw line during his second double-double of the year.

Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Kamala Glenn, Bethel
Glenn poured in a season-high 26 points in Bethel’s 61-57 upset of No. 19 Taylor to open Crossroads League play. The senior guard hit seven-of-13 shots from the field and went 10-of-11 from the charity stripe.
