Crossroads League Names Marandet and Bradbury as Athletes of the Week

 

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its athletes of the week on Tuesday, recognizing the top performers from the week of December 25-31. In order to be considered for the award, a student-athlete must be nominated by their institution’s Sports Information Director.

Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Paul Marandet, Spring Arbor

Marandet poured in 22 points to go with six assists, three steals and two blocks in No. 16 Spring Arbor’s (14-2) 91-69 win over Purdue Northwest. The sophomore guard went eight-of-eight from the charity stripe and hit seven-of-10 looks from the floor.

Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Kendall Bradbury, Taylor

Bradbury helped RV Taylor (10-6) to its fourth win over a Top-25 foe with 20 points and seven rebounds in TU’s 66-61 win over No. 9 Dakota Wesleyan. Bradbury also had 25 points and 10 boards for her 11th double-double of the year in a loss at NAIA Division I RV Arizona Christian and averaged 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest.
