Crossroads League Tabs Lienhoop and Bradbury as Athletes of the Week

 

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its athletes of the week on Monday, recognizing the top performers from the week of December 11-17. In order to be considered for the award, a student-athlete must be nominated by their institution’s Sports Information Director.

Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Bryce Lienhoop, Saint Francis

Lienhoop averaged 26.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists, while shooting 54.3 percent from the floor to lead No. 2 Saint Francis to a pair of road wins at No. 7 Southeastern and No. 25 Warner. Lienhoop poured in 33 points and 13 boards in USF’s, 92-85, overtime win at Southeastern.

Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Kendall Bradbury, Taylor

Bradbury set RV Taylor’s single-game scoring record with 41 points to help the Trojans score a 109-90 upset of No. 13 Olivet Nazarene. Bradbury connected on 16-of-26 field goals, made nine-of-10 free throws and added 13 rebounds and four assists for her NAIA-best 10th double-double of the season and 11th-straight game with at least 20 points.
