Broke the program record in first race of season

GREENVILLE, S.C. –The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Student-Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the top athletes from the week of September 9-14. Women’s cross country junior Emma Jankowski was named the NCCAA Women’s Cross Country National Student-Athlete of the Week.

Jankowski finished in fourth place at the Wildcat Twilight Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan over the weekend. Her time of 18:16 broke the program record she previously set last season and was good for fourth place out of 177 runners in the race. It is the fourth NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Pilots in 2019-20 and the first accolade for the junior from Granger.

Each student-athlete has been nominated by his/her respective institution and exemplifies the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA
