Fire Football Places Six on Academic All-Mid-South List

COLUMBIA, Ky. – A total of 222 Mid-South Conference football student-athletes earned Academic All MSC honors, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

Southeastern was represented by Tyson Kee, Marque Northington, Dustin Peebles, Cory Rahman, Collin Weinland, and Chris Thompson.

The Fire finished the 2018 season with a 7-3 record and were co-champions of the Mid-South Conference’s Sun Division.
