KANSAS CITY, Mo.—In the second consecutive edition of the AFCA NAIA Top 25, the Southeastern University football team moved up two spots.
The Fire are now ranked 15th in the coaches’ poll, which was released this afternoon.
Southeastern garnered 171 points in the poll voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each conference. Defending national champion Morningside was the unanimous No. 1 selection once again.
Last week, Southeastern defeated Georgetown by the score of 54-15, marking its first win against a former NAIA National Champion.
A total of seven Mid-South Conference squads are ranked, which includes two from the Sun Division with Keiser jumping into this week’s poll at 24th.
Southeastern will host Campbellsville University Saturday at 7 p.m.
