KANSAS CITY, Mo.—For the first time since the 2016 preseason poll, the Southeastern University men’s soccer team is nationally ranked.
In the fourth installment of the NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25, the Fire are ranked 24th.
This marks the eighth time in program history the Fire have been a part of the national rankings, which are voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions, and Unaffiliated Groups.
Southeastern is currently 6-1-1 on the season, and 2-0 in The Sun Conference. In its most recent match, the Fire upset then-No. 23 Keiser, 4-2, marking the second regular season victory over a Top 25 team in program history.
The Fire return to action at home on Wednesday against Warner with a 7:30 p.m. start.
