KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The Southeastern University men’s soccer team achieved its highest NAIA ranking in program history for a second straight week.
The Fire are in the Top 10 for the first time in program history, checking in at ninth, and were the biggest mover among the teams that were nationally ranked last week, trending up four spots.
One of seven unbeaten teams remaining in NAIA men’s soccer, the Fire are 9-0-1 this season, winning six of their 10 total matches by shutout. Southeastern has allowed just five total goals in its 10 matches, and haven’t surrendered a score in the last five matches.
Offensively, during their last five games, the Fire have racked up 17 goals for with Banabas Ganiedekam, Craig Barker and Jake Van Der Luit with three each in that span. Ganiedekam and Barker have three assists apiece during that span as well.
Southeastern will be on the road tonight at Warner with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
