LAKELAND, Fla.-Southeastern University Volleyball Head Coach Audrey Goldsberry announced her team’s 2019 schedule, which begins in Alabama on August 23.

Once again, the season begins at the Faulkner Invitational, where the Fire will face the host Eagles, Brenau, William Carey, and Truett McConnell during the two-day tournament. The following weekend will see SEU travel to Marietta, Ga. for the Life Running Eagle Classic. During the first day, Southeastern will face Freed-Hardeman and Life, then Brenau and Fisk during the second day.

SEU will take the floor at The Furnace for the first time this season on Tuesday, September 3rd against Johnson University of Florida.

The Fire won a share of The Sun Conference regular season title for the first time in school history last year, and will host Florida Memorial on September 7th to begin conference play. Four days later, the Fire will host fellow defending regular season co-champion Webber International.

Following a trip to St. Thomas on September 14th for their first road conference match, the Fire will open a four-game home stand, featuring defending conference tournament champion, Coastal Georgia on September 25.

During October, SEU will host seven matches hosting William Carey, St. Francis (Ill.), St. Thomas, Trinity Christian, Loyola (La.), and Mobile. Trinity Christian is coming off of a 30-win season, and advanced to the NAIA National Championship final site. The month concludes with a trip to Brunswick to face Coastal Georgia.
