LAKELAND, Fla.—The fall portion of the Southeastern University golf schedule came to a close with a second place finish at the Dave Adamonis Invitational, hosted by Johnson & Wales University at Trump National Doral.
The Fire were 31 shots back of top-ranked and overall champion Keiser.
For the second consecutive tournament, Valentina Espinosa was the top finisher, tying for seventh with a 54-hole score of 232. Espinosa opened the tournament with a 78 and closed with a 77.
Ana Uribe was two shots back in a tie for ninth, closing with the best round on the roster of the tournament with a 73. After scoring an 84 in the first round, the returning All-American bounced back with a 77 in the second.
Ashlynn Joyner was tied for 11th at 238 (80-80-78), and Brianna Farrell checked in at 18th with a score of 243 (83-76-84).
Sarah Noto rounded out the lineup in 25th with a score of 253 (84-77-82).
