Fire Wrestling 15th in Final Regular Season Ranking

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—In the final regular season NAIA Coaches’ Top 20 Poll, Southeastern University checked in at 15th.

The poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each of the qualifying groups.

Individually, the Fire have six wrestlers ranked in the top 20 in their respective weight classes, led by Dylan Chatterton at 157, ranked eighth. Ethan Owen (141) and Jake Watters (149) are both ranked ninth, and Jason Davis is up to 10th at 184.

Luis Peguero checked in at 11th at 197 and Jaaziel Santana was 16th at 125.

The team heads to the Mid-South Conference Championship in Bowling Green, Ky. on Saturday.
