COLUMBIA, Ky.—As the Southeastern University wrestling team enters its fourth year of competition, the Mid-South Conference coaches picked the Fire to finish fifth in the 2018-19 standings.
The Fire finished just a point behind Campbellsville, which received a first-place vote, for fourth place. Defending national runner-up Cumberlands finished at the top of the poll, with Lindsey Wilson and Life tied for second.
SEU finished tied for 12th at the NAIA National Championship, and return four All-Americans to its lineup.
On October 25, the Fire will host their annual Red-Black Intrasquad, and will host Campbellsville on November 16 for its first home dual.
