FLORIDA NATIVE SIGNS WITH THE PILOTS

Mishawaka, Ind. – Bethel baseball head coach Seth Zartman is pleased to announce that Kenny Koblentz has signed his letter of intent to play for Bethel beginning in 2017-18. Koblentz, a 5-11 right-handed catcher, is a native of Lakeland, Florida.

Koblentz, son of Randy and Kerri Koblentz, prepped at Lakeland (Fla.) Tenoroc High School. Koblentz batted above .300 and had a caught stealing percentage above 60 percent for his career.

“I chose Bethel because I love the environment there and it seems like a good fit,” stated Koblentz. “I will have a good baseball family and I love that it is a Christian college.”
