Foresters Slip from Top-25 in Final Regular Season Ratings

 

KANSAS CITY – Huntington came in one spot shy of a national ranking in the final NAIA Top-25 Baseball Poll of the regular season, as announced by the NAIA on Tuesday evening.

 

RV Huntington (29-11, 22-5 CL) received 71 points in the final poll, slipping from No. 24 to 26th in the rankings after going 6-3 down the stretch and wrapping up the 2017 Crossroads League Championship. The Foresters will enter the CL Tournament as the top-seed and will host Bethel on Saturday in an opening-round contest.

 

The NAIA Top-25 Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches from around the nation. The postseason Top-25 Poll will be announced on June 7.
