Forman Hits 1,000, Pilots Win Second Straight at Odle

 

UPLAND, Ind. – The Bethel College Pilots men’s basketball team opened Crossroads League play with an 80-74 come-from-behind win over host Taylor on Tuesday evening behind a decisive 12-0 run in the final minutes. Senior Paul Forman became the 59th member of the 1,000 Point Club in program history, finishing with 20 points on 7-of-11 from the field.

  • The Pilots won their second straight game in Odle Arena for just the second time in program history—the first since winning consecutively in Upland in 1994-95 and 1995-96.
  • The Pilots use a 12-0 run to turn a three-point deficit into a 73-64 advantage in the final minutes before Trevion Crews closed out the game at the free throw line.
  • Crews recorded personal and team season-highs with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 steals for his second double-double of the season.
