Ancilla College had 43 of its student athletes receive academic awards for the 2018-19 season. Freshman women’s basketball player Talia Bee (Valparaiso) led the group with a perfect 4.0 grade point average and earned NJCAA Academic All-American First Team honors. Fifteen students earned second team honors with a 3.99-3.8 GPA and five students earned third team awards posting a 3.79-3.6 GPA.
Six students earned a 3.2-3.0 GPA earned MCCAA Academic All-Conference, while 37 earned MCCAA Academic All-MCCAA honors with a 3.3-4.0 grade point average.
Women’s bowling posted a 3.37 GPA, the seventh highest in the MCCAA, and women’s soccer posted a 3.34 GPA and men’s soccer earned a 3.28 GPA.
