Elgin, Ill. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this evening when they traveled to Judson University. The Saints jumped out to a 10-2 lead to start the game, but Judson would battle back and take a 35-30 lead heading into halftime. Both teams exchanged baskets back and worth in the second half, before Holy Cross would tie the game up 54-54 with just under six minutes remaining. Judson would go on a run late to hand the Saints a 68-56 defeat. With the loss, men’s basketball stands at 8-9 overall and 3-6 in conference play, while Judson improves to 7-9 and 5-4.
