Chicago, Ill. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they travelled to St. Xavier University. After shoot 65% from the field in the first half, the Saints took a 40-38 halftime lead. Holy Cross struggled to get stop in the second half and allowed the Cougars to score 40 points, as they would defeat the Saints 78-67. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 11-5 overall and 6-3 in league play, while St. Xavier falls to 8-7 and 8-3.
