Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they hosted St. Ambrose University. Neither team struggled to score in the first half, as the Saints would take a 50-41 halftime lead. Holy Cross held the Bees to shooting just 33% from the field and just 28 points in the second half, as men’s basketball would go on to win 84-69. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 10-4 overall and 5-2 in league play, while St. Ambrose falls to 11-4 and 6-2
