Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross men’s basketball team continued their conference play today, when they played host to the Olivet Nazarene University Tigers. The Saints offense came to play today, shooting extremely efficient in the first half. The Saints started the game off with an 18-5 run to get things going early. The Saints shot 62% from the field and 50% from three-point range. Nash Hostetler led the Saints with three 3 pointers in the game. The Saints would take a 43-32 lead into halftime. Phil Robles was exceptionally reliable for the Saints in the second half and led the Saints in scoring with 27 points in today’s game. The Saints and Tigers were trading baskets in the second half, but the Saints were able to hold their lead and go on and win 83-72. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 11-10 overall and 7-7 in conference play, while the Tigers drop to 15-6 and 10-3.
