Crown Point, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s soccer team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this evening when they traveled to Indiana University Northwest. Thirty-two minutes into the match, Juan Perez would find the back of the net off an assist from Amos Gborie.
The goal would remain for the first half, as Holy Cross would enter halftime up 1-0. Late in the second half, Perez would come away with another goal to extend the Saints lead to 2-0. Holy Cross would go on to defeat IUNW 2-0. With the win, Holy Cross moves to 4-6-1 and 2-2 in league play, while IUNW moves to 2-6-1 and 0-4.
