Holy Cross WBB falls at Trinity Christian

Palos Heights, Ill. The Holy Cross women’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference this evening when they traveled to Trinity Christian College. After a slow start by the Saints, they found themselves down 24-15 after the first quarter. The Trolls would extend their lead in the second quarter, but a late run by Holy Cross closed the deficit to 42-30 entering halftime. Late in the third quarter after two good free throws by Jayda Miller, the Saints trailed 53-51. Trinity Christian would make another run in the fourth quarter and hand the Saints the 74-62 defeat. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 2-5 overall and 1-4 in CCAC play while TCC improves to 9-2 and 5-1.
