Huntington Cracks Top-20 in NAIA Postseason Baseball Poll

 

KANSAS CITY – The Huntington University baseball team achieved the highest rating of its 2017 Crossroads League Championship campaign, moving up to No. 20 in the NAIA Postseason Top-25 Poll after winning two games in the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round.

 

No. 20 Huntington closed its 2017 season with an overall mark of 35-13 and scored wins over RV Saint Thomas and Truett-McConnell in the Opening Round. The Foresters two Opening Round losses came to No. 2 and NAIA World Series runner-up Faulkner.

 

The NAIA Top-25 Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches from around the nation.
