Huntington sophomore Sam Dolobaipu named NAIA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Huntington sophomore Sam Dolobaipu had an outstanding week to be tabbed this week NAIA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the national office earlier this afternoon.

Dolobaipu posted seven points last week, scoring a goal and assisting the game-winner in HU’s 3-2 upset win over #3 Bethel on Saturday night. The 6-3 forward also added a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Goshen earlier in the week.

So far this season, Dolobaipu has ten goals and six assists for 26 points. The Foresters (8-2-1, 2-0-0) are back in action tomorrow night to host Saint Francis at 7:00 p.m.
