Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin Earn Weekly Volleyball Awards
Illinois’ Brown and Fleming, Michigan’s Pertofsky and Wisconsin’s Hilley earn weekly honors

Player and Setter of the Week
Sydney Hilley, Wisconsin
S – So. – Brooklyn Park, Minn. – Champlin Park
• Set Wisconsin to two wins over top-five teams for the first time in program history as the No. 13 Badgers defeated No. 5 Penn State and No. 2 Nebraska last weekend averaging a .339 hitting percentage
• Recorded a team-leading fifth double-double against the Nittany Lions with 46 assists and 10 digs
• Added 42 assists, four digs and one block at Nebraska averaging 12.57 assists per set over the weekend
• Earns her second career Player of the Week award and the first of the year
• Receives her seventh career Setter of the Week award and the second this season
• Last Wisconsin Player of the Week: Dana Rettke (Sept. 3, 2019)

Defensive Player of the Week
Ashlyn Fleming, Illinois
MB – Sr. – San Jose, Calif. – Valley Christian
• Helped No. 18 Illinois to back-to-back Big Ten road wins last weekend starting with a 3-0 sweep at Indiana on Friday before taking a 3-1 victory over No. 17 Purdue in West Lafayette on Sunday
• Led the Illini with 11 blocks for 1.57 stuffs per set in the two wins, as Illinois held its opponents to a .113 team hitting percentage
• Collects her first career Defensive Player of the Week honor
• Last Illinois Defensive Player of the Week: Ali Bastianelli (Nov. 19, 2018)

Co-Freshman of the Week
Diana Brown, Illinois
S – Columbus, Ohio – St. Francis DeSales
• Posted back-to-back double-doubles, totaling 82 assists for an 11.71 assists per set average during No. 18 Illinois’ 2-0 weekend
• Also registered 24 digs for a 3.43 digs per set average, eight blocks, three service aces and three kills on a .273 hitting percentage with no errors
• Receives her first career Freshman of the Week honor

MB – Los Angeles, Calif. – Sierra Canyon
• Averaged 3.50 kills per set with a .356 attack percentage in Michigan’s two sweeps of Maryland and Ohio State
• Posted double-digit kills versus the Terps (11) and Buckeyes (10) while averaging a .356 hitting clip over the weekend
• Receives her second career Freshman of the Week honor and the second in as many weeks
