Indiana Adds Danielle Patterson To Roster
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women’s Basketball head coach Teri Moren has announced that Danielle Patterson has joined the program. Patterson, a sophomore transfer from Notre Dame, will sit out the 2019-20 season and will have two years of eligibility.
“I am very happy Danielle chose to continue her collegiate career at Indiana,” Moren said. “She is a high-caliber player who has great versatility and has the ability to score inside and out.”
The Brooklyn, N.Y. native was a 2017 McDonald’s All-American and 2017 Jordan Brand Classic All-American out of The Mary Louis Academy. Patterson, a 6-foot-2 forward was ranked as the No. 5 small forward in the country by ESPN Hoopgurlz. In her two seasons at Notre Dame, she appeared in 66 games and averaged 11.2 minutes per outing.
Patterson participated in the U17 Team USA Trials during her junior year where she averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and two assists per game leading The Mary Louis Academy to an 18-8 record and the Brooklyn/Queens semifinals. She played AAU with the Philadelphia Belles.
