Christian Sload, Penn State

F – Sr. – Reading, Pa. – Wilson – Energy Business and Finance  

  • Helped No. 16 Penn Stated claim two overtime wins last week against No. 17 Maryland and Rutgers
  • Scored the game winning goal against the Terrapins to give Penn State their first win over Maryland since 2005
  • Collected the golden goal versus Rutgers to end the Nittany Lions’ Big Ten season and secure the No. 2 seed in the league tournament
  • Garners his first career Offensive Player of the Week award

Defensive Player of the Week

Jack Maher, Indiana

  • Anchored the No. 10 Indiana defense to a 2-0 weekend against Ohio State and Michigan State to secure the Big Ten Men’s Soccer Championship for the second year in a row
  • Only allowed Ohio State to get two shots on goal in the Hoosiers’ 5-1 victory
  • Scored the lone goal of the match on a penalty kick to secure the Big Ten crown against Michigan State in the 1-0 win
  • Earns his second Defensive Player of the Week award
